There are as many paths to healing as there are people doing that work. Know that there is no “right” timeline for getting support.
SACE support services are available to anyone who has experienced sexual assault or abuse, no matter your age. Whether it happened a long time ago or even in childhood, if you were sexually assaulted in the past, SACE has specialized services to support your healing. Below are some of the services we offer.
Additional resources that may be helpful for you can be found on our Learn page, Community Resources page, and on the pages for any services you may be interested in.
Support & Information Lines
For anyone who has experienced sexual assault, abuse, or harassment, these lines can help by providing supportive listening and important information about sexual violence. The conversation is caller-led, and you will never have to talk about anything you don’t want to talk about.
SACE Support & Information Line
Our Support and Information Line is available every day from 9 am to 9 pm by dialling 780.423.4121. This line is available for anyone who has been impacted by sexual assault or abuse, as well as their supporters.
Alberta's One Line
Additional options are available from 9 am to 9 pm daily as part of our partnership on the Alberta One Line. To access chat, click the ‘Get Support Now’ banner in the bottom right of the screen.
